I got the mesquite grilled chicken breast sandwich (w/gruyere cheese and caramelized onions on a pretzel bun) with a side of sweet potato fries.
Went to J. Gilbert's this evening for my wife's birthday. Outstanding! Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. I had the Tomahawk Ribeye with Wild Mushroom Risotto and Prosciutto Brussels Sprouts. OUTSTANDING!! My wife had the Oscar Filet with Spinich and Risotto. I would like to give a speacial thanks to our waiter, Joseph M., who made our first time to J. Gilbert's a great experience. We will definitely be back. Without question. Thanks for a great dinning experience!
My friend and I stopped by mid afternoon, and we didn't realize they apparently close briefly in between lunch and dinner. They kindly still served us, and our waiter was great.
Great experience. Scott is a wonderful server. Food was good. Husband had the filet that was very tender. I had the salmon that was equally good. Service is outstanding. Thank you. Treated us to dessert for our 32nd anniversary. We will be back

We had a party of 12 and the service was impeccable! I enjoyed everything about our experience! The food was delicious and they offered some wonderful varieties. I would definitely go again and ask for Amber. Great, simply great!
Neither of us had been here before and unfortunately we just weren't wowed. For these prices, we should be. I wasn't very adventurous in ordering, so I want to return again to try something else.
The chicken was a little dry, and the fries were unexceptional. My preference is thick fries if they're made from sweet potatoes.
