The cafe staff is so friendly and quick! There is also a good selection of books. Win/win
They've just redone the layout of the store and it's really inviting and open now! This is the bookstore browsing experience you've dreamed of...and it is doubly good that while you're there you can get your Starbucks coffee in their cafe. Really good selection of quality kids' toys, too!
This Barnes and Noble is pretty huge! Definitely bigger than the other location in STL. There are plenty of nooks with comfy seats where you can curl up with a book and spend a couple hours! There's a Starbuck's inside that also serves Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. That's a major win as far as I'm concerned!
Employees are always knowledgeable and helpful. And the variety of books, magazines, DVD's, CD's and Vinyl, it's not just any kind of bookstore...
I bought one of my husband's birthday presents here about a month ago. I needed some help decided which direction to go and the gentleman working in the back around movies and soundtracks was very helpful and very friendly.
So few book stores nowadays. I'm grateful the for the few that are left, like this one. When I walk through the door, I'm immediately back in middle school, headed straight for the music section at the back of the store to buy the latest Broadway soundtrack....because I'm a theatre nerd.
