Initially no one spoke a word to me for 15 minutes. But finally an employee came in off of his lunch break and assisted me. Thankfully he was very helpful and made things right.
I went into this location to look for a watch to gift to my father for father's day. Esther helped me look at all your store's selections and was very patient and knowledgeable! I will definitely keep this store in mind when deciding on my gift and on future purchases.
My experience with Helzberg was the absolute worst. I received a ring as a gift from here a few years ago and loved it. Unfortunately, after a few years the stone fell out without any notice (unfortunate, but it happens). I went to the store and we picked out a new stone and they said they would call once complete in 4-6 weeks. after multiple times calling 2.5 months later they finally returned my call and said it was ready. I went to the store to pick up the ring and it was the wrong color stone! I had to go through this process again and when I went to pick up the ring the Chesterfield store was closed permanently, without any notice! I finally figured out where my ring was which was at West County Mall. I got my ring and it looked similar to the stone we had chosen but they never resized it which we had discussed. I took the ring anyways and within a few months the prongs were catching on EVERYTHING. When I explained my frustration with the gentlemen, who then told his manager (man with the long slicked back hair who would not come talk to me directly) they said I could buy a $70 insurance plan but they would not do anything to help me unless I wanted to pay for it. I took the ring and refused to never come back. The whole 6 month process trying to get this ring fixed and I still can't wear it. I understand why the store went out of business and I will not be a repeat customer.
The staff at this location are clueless. After being told that my wife had to be present in order to make the purchase (coupon had her name on it) I had to do the embarrassing thing go get her. We had it worked out because the lady knew not to mention what I was buying but of course she pushes me off to another lady who doesn't know this. Of course she opens her mouth giving a complete description of what I was trying to buy right in front of my wife....I ignore it. I then get pushed onto a third salesperson who is just as clueless and he does the exact same thing but also makes sure to let me know the total very loud so the wife can hear. We've spent we'll over $4k with Helzbergs since being married the past 3 years and the only thing I will ever go back for is to upgrade her wedding ring...and that's only because you get the 100% value of her ring towards the next one. I understand that what I was needing them to do for me was a tiny bit out of normal...but to botch it that bad is absurd.
My sister bought me a ring from Helzberg as a graduation present and I LOVE it. The "Lifetime Care Plan" covers all my sizings and maintenance. Thank you to all the associates for taking such good care of me. I will definitely be coming back for my own future purchases.
